Composition
Active ingredient: Trichloroisocyanuric Acid, with available chlorine (Cl) not less than 90.0% (w/w). Excipients: Stabilizer, surfactant.
Description
White crystalline powder, with strong pungent chlorine odor, slightly soluble in water. Strong oxidizing property.
Pharmacological Action
A high-efficiency broad-spectrum chlorinated disinfectant. It hydrolyzes slowly and continuously in water to release hypochlorous acid, with ultra-high available chlorine content and long-lasting bactericidal effect. It destroys microbial protein structure through oxidation and chlorination.
• Spectrum: Strong killing effect on bacteria, fungi, viruses, bacterial spores, protozoa and algae.
• Features: Stable property, strong organic matter tolerance, long-lasting effect.
Indications
Suitable for environmental disinfection of large-scale livestock/poultry farms, manure yards, sewage channels, slaughterhouses and transport vehicles. Also used for aquaculture water disinfection and algae removal.
Dosage & Administration
Dilute with clean water and apply by spraying, splashing or fumigation (in enclosed spaces):
1. Routine environmental disinfection: Dilute 1:2000 (1g powder per 2L water), spray at 100 mL/m², contact for 30 minutes.
2. Epidemic focus & contaminated area disinfection: Dilute 1:1000, spray thoroughly, contact for 60–90 minutes.
3. Manure & sewage disinfection: Add 5–10 g per cubic meter of sewage/manure, stir well and act for 2 hours.
4. Aquaculture water disinfection: 0.2–0.4 g per cubic meter of water, evenly splash.
Adverse Reactions
High concentration has strong irritation to respiratory tract, skin and mucous membranes.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to chlorine-containing preparations.
Precautions
1. For external disinfection only. Oral administration is strictly prohibited. Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized personnel.
2. Strong oxidizer. Strictly prohibited to mix with flammables, reducing agents, ammonium salts, amines and acids — may cause combustion, explosion or release of toxic gas.
3. Highly corrosive to metals and bleaching to fabrics. Rinse metal equipment with clean water after disinfection.
4. Operators must wear protective mask, goggles and rubber gloves to avoid dust inhalation and direct skin contact. Rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of contact.
5. Prepare solution immediately before use. Bulk storage of diluted solution is not allowed.
6. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from heat and fire sources; separate from food, feed, seeds and reducing agents.
Storage
Seal tightly, store in a cool, dry, ventilated and light-proof place, away from fire, heat and moisture. Handle with care to avoid package damage.
