Composition
Each mL contains 50 mg Glutaraldehyde and 50 mg Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Bromide as active ingredients. Excipients: Non-ionic surfactant, stabilizer, pH buffer, purified water.
Description
Colorless to pale yellow clear liquid with slight characteristic odor.
Pharmacological Action
High-efficiency compound disinfectant with synergistic bactericidal effect:
• Glutaraldehyde: Alkylates microbial proteins, destroys enzyme systems, and kills bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores.
• Didecyl dimethyl ammonium bromide: Double-chain quaternary ammonium surfactant that disrupts microbial cell membranes, improves glutaraldehyde penetration, and accelerates bactericidal speed.
• The combination expands the bactericidal spectrum, improves killing speed, reduces impact of organic matter, and maintains long-lasting efficacy.
Indications
For routine disinfection and emergency disinfection of livestock farms, pig farms, poultry houses, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, breeding equipment, feeding utensils and transport vehicles.
Dosage & Administration
Dilute with clean water before use.
1. Routine environmental disinfection: Dilute 1:500 – 1:1000, spray or wipe, contact for 30 minutes.
2. Epidemic emergency disinfection: Dilute 1:200 – 1:500, spray thoroughly, contact for 60 minutes, once daily.
3. Equipment & utensil disinfection: Dilute 1:300, soak for 30 minutes.
4. Drinking water system disinfection: Dilute 1:2000, circulate for 2 hours then rinse thoroughly.
Adverse Reactions
Mild irritation to skin and mucous membranes at high concentrations; no obvious adverse reactions at recommended working dilution.
Contraindications
1. Hypersensitivity to glutaraldehyde or quaternary ammonium compounds.
2. Do not mix with anionic detergents, soaps, iodides and oxidizing agents.
Precautions
1. For external use only. Oral administration is strictly prohibited.
2. Operators shall wear protective gloves, goggles and mask during preparation and spraying. Avoid inhalation and direct skin contact.
3. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
4. Slightly corrosive to carbon steel; rinse metal equipment with clean water after disinfection.
5. Prepare solution immediately before use. Store original product in tightly sealed container.
6. Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized personnel.
Storage
Store in tightly sealed original container, in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
