Composition
Each mL contains 50 mg didecyl dimethyl ammonium bromide and 5 mg available iodine as active ingredients. Excipients: Non-ionic surfactant, stabilizer, purified water.
Description
Dark reddish-brown clear liquid with characteristic iodine odor.
Pharmacological Action
Compound disinfectant with synergistic bactericidal effect:
• Didecyl dimethyl ammonium bromide: Double-chain quaternary ammonium cationic surfactant that damages microbial cell membrane structure, increases permeability, and enhances iodine penetration into pathogens.
• Iodine: Halogenates microbial proteins and oxidizes intracellular enzyme systems, directly killing pathogens.
• The combination significantly expands the bactericidal spectrum, improves bactericidal speed and efficacy, and is less affected by organic matter. Effective against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, viruses and bacterial spores.
Indications
For environmental disinfection of livestock and poultry farms, hatcheries, slaughterhouses and transport vehicles; also for disinfection of breeding equipment, utensils and animal body surfaces.
Dosage & Administration
Dilute with clean water before use.
1. Routine environmental disinfection: Dilute 1:500, spray or wipe, contact for 30 minutes.
2. Epidemic outbreak disinfection: Dilute 1:200, spray thoroughly at 100–200 mL/m², contact for 60 minutes, once daily.
3. Equipment & utensil disinfection: Dilute 1:300, soak for 30 minutes.
4. Animal body surface disinfection: Dilute 1:1000, spray or wipe.
Adverse Reactions
Mild irritation to skin and mucous membranes at high concentrations; well tolerated at working dilution.
Contraindications
1. Hypersensitivity to iodine or quaternary ammonium compounds.
2. Do not mix with anionic detergents, soaps, alkaline substances and reducing agents.
Precautions
1. For external use only. Oral administration is strictly prohibited.
2. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental splash, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
3. Operators must wear protective gloves, goggles and mask during preparation and operation.
4. Corrosive to copper and aluminum products; avoid long-term contact.
5. Diluted solution should be prepared freshly. Original product must be stored sealed and away from light.
6. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store in tightly sealed, light-resistant container, in a cool dry place, away from heat and open flame.
