Product Identification

Composition
Each mL contains 200 mg Glutaraldehyde as active ingredient. Excipients: Purified water, pH buffer, stabilizer.
Description
Colorless to pale yellow clear liquid with slight pungent odor; miscible with water.
Pharmacological Action
A high-efficiency broad-spectrum aldehyde disinfectant. It alkylates amino, carboxyl, hydroxyl and sulfhydryl groups of microbial proteins, destroys protein structure and function, and causes pathogen death.
• Spectrum: Kills all types of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi, viruses and bacterial spores. Bactericidal activity is enhanced in alkaline environment (pH 7.5–8.5), and it is minimally affected by organic matter.
Indications
For disinfection of livestock and poultry houses, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, breeding equipment, medical instruments and transport vehicles. Suitable for both routine disinfection and terminal disinfection during epidemic periods.
Dosage & Administration
Dilute with clean water before use.
1. Routine environmental & facility disinfection: Dilute 1:100 (2% working solution), spray or wipe, contact for 30–60 minutes.
2. Epidemic period terminal disinfection: Dilute 1:50 (4% working solution), spray thoroughly, contact for 2–4 hours.
3. Medical & precision instrument disinfection: Dilute 1:100, add 0.5% sodium nitrite as rust inhibitor, soak for 10–30 minutes.
4. Fumigation disinfection in enclosed spaces: Use 20% stock solution at 3–5 mL per cubic meter, heat fumigation for 2 hours.
Adverse Reactions
1. Strong irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory tract.
2. Allergic contact dermatitis may occur in sensitive personnel with long-term exposure.
Contraindications
1. Hypersensitivity to glutaraldehyde.
2. Not for animal body surface or wound disinfection at stock solution concentration.
Precautions
1. For external disinfection only. Oral administration is strictly prohibited.
2. Operators must wear protective mask, goggles and rubber gloves to avoid skin contact and vapor inhalation. Rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of contact.
3. Corrosive to carbon steel products; add sodium nitrite as rust inhibitor when soaking metal instruments.
4. Store away from food, feed and veterinary drugs. Keep out of reach of children.
5. Avoid contact with oxidizing agents and strong acids/alkalis.
Storage
Store in tightly sealed original container, in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from heat, open flame and direct sunlight.
