Composition
Active ingredients: Available iodine (I) ≥ 5.0% (w/w), compounded with surfactant activator and stabilizer. Excipients: Solid surfactant, synergist, stabilizer, water-soluble carrier.
Description
Dark brown powder, easily soluble in water, forming a brown transparent solution with characteristic iodine odor.
Pharmacological Action
A compound activated iodine disinfectant. The surfactant activator significantly enhances iodine permeability and bactericidal activity, enabling active iodine to rapidly penetrate microbial cell walls and membranes, oxidize intracellular proteins and enzyme systems, and kill pathogens quickly.
• Spectrum: Rapid and broad-spectrum killing effect on bacteria, fungi, viruses, mycoplasma and bacterial spores.
• Features: Faster bactericidal speed, stronger stability and lower irritation than ordinary iodine preparations.
Indications
1. Disinfection of breeding environment, barns, cages, feeding utensils, egg trays and transport vehicles.
2. Disinfection of hatching eggs and breeder farm biosecurity control.
3. Emergency disinfection during epidemic outbreaks and animal body surface disinfection.
Dosage & Administration
Dilute with clean water and apply by spraying, soaking, wiping or rinsing:
1. Empty house & equipment routine disinfection: Dilute 1:800 (1g powder per 1L water), spray or soak, contact for 20–30 minutes.
2. Epidemic emergency disinfection: Dilute 1:400, spray comprehensively at 50–100 mL/m², contact for 60 minutes, once daily.
3. Hatching egg disinfection: Dilute 1:1000, soak or spray for 5 minutes.
4. Animal body surface disinfection: Dilute 1:1500, spray or rinse the body surface.
Adverse Reactions
No obvious irritation at recommended concentration. High concentration may cause mild skin and mucous membrane irritation.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to iodine or any product component.
Precautions
1. For external use only. Oral administration is prohibited. Keep out of reach of children.
2. Do not mix with alkaline disinfectants, reducing agents and mercury preparations.
3. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental splash, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
4. Operators shall wear protective gloves and mask during use.
5. Diluted solution should be used promptly. Original product must be stored in sealed, light-proof packaging.
6. Slightly corrosive to copper and aluminum products; prolonged soaking is not recommended.
Storage
Sealed, stored in a cool, dry and dark place, away from heat and open flame.
